Psalm 96:1-4 “Sing to the Lord a new song;Sing to the Lord, all the earth.Sing to the Lord, bless His name; Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day.Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples. For great is the Lord and greatly to be praised;”

The worship team at the Rock Church is made up of a group of musicians who love the Lord and want to use the gifts and skills they have been given to serve Him.

We are committed to leading God’s people in worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ. Our goal as a team is to set the environment that allows the congregation to freely express their love for the most High God. We believe that worship is a believer’s response to who God is. We worship Him with who we are, and songs are simply one way of expressing our worship.

Why Do We Clap Our Hands?

“O clap your hands all ye people, shout unto God with the voice of triumph.” Psalms 47:1

Why Do We Lift Our Hands?

“Thus I will bless Thee while I live; I will lift up my hands in Thy name.” Psalms 63:4″I desire therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.” 1 Timothy 2:8

Why Are Musical Instruments A Part of The Worship Service?

“Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; praise him with harp and lyre. Praise Him with the timbrel and dance. Praise Him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the loud cymbals. Praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals.” Psalms 150:3-5
