We live in a fallen world and are all sinful, the only difference we hold is that we have the revelation of God’s word, redeeming love, sacrifice and saving grace.

God’s Word

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and the inerrant Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:21.

Jesus’ Life

His virgin birth Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:34-35; His sinless life Hebrews 4:15, 7:26; His miracles John 2:11; His vicarious and atoning death 1 Corinthians 15:3; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 2:9; His resurrection John 11:25; 1 Corinthians 15:4; His ascension to the right hand of the Father Mark 16:19; His personal return to earth in power and glory Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11-16.

Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit who gifts us to accomplish Christ’s purposes in the world and who manifests His presence to the world through Christ’s church (Romans 8:13-14; Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20; 1Corinthians 12; 1 Corinthians 14; Ephesians 4:30, 5:18).

God, Jesus, & Holy Spirit

We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30.

Salvation

We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of the human nature, and that all are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God’s grace through faith alone are we saved John 3:16-19; John 5:24; Romans 3:23, 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5.

Unity in Community

We believe in the spiritual unity of the believers in our Lord Jesus Christ Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Galatians 3:26-28.

Worship

“Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; praise him with psaltry and harp. Praise Him with the timbrel and dance. Praise Him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the loud cymbals. Praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals.” (Psalms 150:3-5)  “O clap your hands all ye people, shout unto God with the voice of triumph.” (Psalms 47:1) “Thus I will bless Thee while I live; I will lift up my hands in Thy name.” (Psalms 63:4) “I desire therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.” (1 Timothy 2:8)

Speaking With Tongues

“Therefore, my brothers, be eager to prophesy and do not forbid speaking in tongues.” (1 Corinthians 14:39) “Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good . . . to another speaking in different tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.” (1 Corinthians 12:7,10)

Praying

“When they heard this, they raised their voices together in prayer to God . . .” (Acts 4:24) “Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you asked for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.” (Matthew 18:19)

Anointing With Oil

“Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well, the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.” (James 5:14, 15)

We Are Examples

We believe that we as Christians are examples of the love of God in this world. It is this (agape) love that we desire to possess and without which we have no right to call ourselves Christians 1 John 4:16-17.
